Just as your children get their headshots taken at school every year, family photos are a collective way to look back on some of life’s short-lived moments. Our kids grow older every day and with each passing moment, we’re left with only memories of their childhood. Before we know if, they’re out the door and beginning families of their own. Family is forever and it is so important to capture every stage of our family’s history. Looking back from year-to-year can be so fun, as we watch our family members change and mature. Family pictures will be one of the greatest gifts passed onto your children and grandchildren in the future.
I’m so very thankful for Karlie. She captured my son, Beau’s, birth so beautifully and tastefully. Karlie helped keep time still for those very intimate moments I will remember forever. Being able to look back at those newborn pics and birth video is emotional, raw, and brings complete happiness to me.

Hiring Karlie for our maternity shoot was one of the BEST decisions we’ve made. She made my husband and I feel very comfortable during our shoot. Karlie is patient, welcoming and very organized. Karlie was easy to work with and we received our maternity pictures back within a reasonable timeframe. We cannot wait for Karlie to capture our newborn/lifestyle photos.

The days prior to getting the final video, I kept saying how badly I wish I could relive the day my son was born. To this day, every time I watch the video I bawl my eyes out. I truly don’t know how Karlie did it, but she captured the day so perfectly.

To me, photos are memories you can hold in your hand. Life is forever changing, but photography lets you freeze a moment in time. One photo can tell you who you hung out with, what style you flaunted, and what made you happy. Photography helps us to not only remember, but to embrace the best and worst parts of our lives. Only then can we gain perspective on how far we’ve come today.
Sure. A few quick clicks on your phone can do the trick. But when it comes to photography – true, careful, thoughtful photography – it takes a lot more than just a ‘point and shoot.’ Whether it’s your wedding, your engagement photos, your senior portraits, or something else in between, quality photos are an investment.
Fleeting, short-lived moments are some of my favorite to catch on camera! In the blink of an eye, babies are born and children grow older. Your chances of capturing these moments are brief, but so important. The value you and your future children will place on these images one day remains priceless. Documenting the birth of your child is crucial. Although it may only happen once, the love and intimacy can be felt time and time again through pictures and video. Maternity sessions also commemorate a moment of celebration. One day, you’ll look back at those images and reminisce. Family portraits allow for similar recollections. Recording your family throughout various stages of life will always help you remember the journey. So when times get hard, you can recall how far you and your loved ones have come. Your children will then be able to show their own children someday and so on. This alone, is probably one of the greatest gifts you can pass on to your families future generations.

I truly don’t know how Karlie did it, but she captured the day so perfectly. The beautiful moments, the not so beautiful moments, little details I didn’t think could mean so much, the emotion, she captured it all. I really do feel like I’m reliving that day
